In this session, we explore how to properly list your education, certifications, and volunteer experience to strengthen your resume. These often-overlooked sections can help you stand out by showing your qualifications, dedication, and unique experiences—even when they’re not tied to paid work. Learn how to format these sections clearly and strategically so recruiters can easily see what you bring to the table.

In this session of the Resume Bootcamp series, we’re wrapping things up in the resume with two powerful finishing touches—writing a strong, standout summary and giving your resume a final polish. Learn how to showcase your value in just a few lines and make sure every detail is ready to impress recruiters.

You might be asking, “Why are cover letters part of a series about resumes?” Well, that's because your cover letter should align closely with the resume you've just worked so hard to perfect. In fact, the process we’ll walk through for writing a cover letter is deeply connected to the structure and content of your resume. It’s an essential step in your job search, and we’ll help make it easy and effective for you here in Session 6.
